This is the utilisation of water which has been used for bathing and dishwashing as well as roof catchment water for the purpose of flushing toilets and irrigating gardens or green areas. It can be retrofitted or installed in a new dwelling. The recycled water is filtered and sterilised and odour free.  SAVINGS minimum 30% by volume.  Uses for this form of recycling can be summarised in the following sectors:

Industrial
PTA can evaluate the cost of recovering / disposing of pollutants in a variety of industrial processes.
Recovery of Metals.
Cleaning and Recycling of process effluents for reuse.
More efficient use of water resource.
Design and Build of very high purity water systems for the Electronics Industry and subsequent recovery systems.
Aluminium Can Plant washer design and recycle stream use. 
We should stress that evaluation of the safe disposal or recovery processes can be very costly to the company requesting help. It is sensible to point this out from the outset. Some problems are very difficult to solve.

Landfill
PTA is currently engaged in looking at the problems of Leachate disposal on landfill sites for domestic waste which is a problem world wide.

Food Industry
PTA are currently looking at recycling wash liquors from a poultry factory. This involves separation processes as well as bug killing before reuse for washing purposes .

Other sectors, such as Human Waste Treatments and Horticulture/Agriculture also benefit from Grey Water recycling.
